How we research a listing
We look for the manufacturer’s current product information and the label for a specific version, then record dated source links and the facts each source supports. Where relevant, we consult primary certification bodies and federal health or labeling resources. A manufacturer claim is not the same as an independent certification or a batch-specific test result.
Our profiles summarize published information. We have not conducted hands-on product tests, analyzed supplement lots, inspected manufacturing facilities or independently verified every claim on a package. An absent or inaccessible fact is shown as unknown, not as a negative finding.
Versions, serving sizes and status
Products are grouped by format, source or label emphasis. EPA and DHA are reported in milligrams per the stated label serving when we can support that basis. Their calculated sum is not necessarily the label’s total omega-3 amount. Calculated per-softgel figures are estimates, not quoted label values.
Current or active means that the exact researched product is marketed in the sources checked; it is not a promise of inventory or checkout availability. A specific historical label marked off-market does not by itself prove a current reformulation is discontinued. Explicitly discontinued and uncertain records are kept out of active selections, while useful historical URLs may remain available.
Prices, certification and updates
Prices are shown only when supported for the relevant product and package, with the check date and terms where known. Prices, subscription conditions, stock, formulations and labels can change. A certification is described only within its verified program and product or lot scope; it is not proof of a clinical outcome.
Each profile records when its sources were checked. The build rejects active evidence more than 365 days old under our maintenance policy, but a recent date cannot guarantee the information remains current. Check the latest manufacturer label and consult an appropriate clinician about individual needs.
Independence and corrections
We do not assign ratings, declare a best product or treat the amount of one fatty acid as a universal ranking. The finder returns categories and questions, not a personalized product or dose.
